Two Weeks of Valentines All At Once

Hi Stampers!

I can’t believe it’s been two weeks since I’ve posted anything. It has been a crazy two weeks. Three snow days that I’ve had the day off. Usually that means I get extra play time. Not this time.  Sickness; first me then a bit later my daughter.  Different types of sickness so we didn’t even pass it back and forth.  Furnace and hot water issues. Lastly, car issues so now, I have a newer vehicle 🚗.

I did get some crafting time to save my sanity but I didn’t get to go online much.  I have a few Valentine’s Day projects to share with you .

First some small Designer Series Paper gift bags to hold chocolate kisses and hearts. I LOVE how Paper Pumpkin is coordinating with stamp sets from the regular catalog.  The tags are a combination of Paper Pumpkin and the Heartfelt bundle.c

Other treat holders I made used the little heart tins.

The top heart is tag that opens.  I had some red thread that retired a Christmas or two ago that I thought added a cute element (and I couldn’t find my silver thread).

I used a verse from Best Dressed for the greeting stamped with Real Red. Again filled with kisses.

Lastly, I have a gift tag using supplies from Paper Pumpkin.

I used the bee stamp inked in black and stamped over one of the bee elements.  This for my daughter to give Valentine’s to her friends.

Join me next time.

Until then,

Post-It Gnome

Hi Stampers!

I am sure if you’ve been on the internet or shopping, you know gnomes are very popular right now.

At Christmas time, people started making punch art gnomes with the Pine Tree Punch. Before that I wasn’t going to purchase this punch since I had other tree dies. Well, we all know how that goes. You start seeing things on Facebook or Pinterest and then YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT.

It was on back order for who knows how long.  It arrived about the time My Heartfelt Suite arrived, so the gnome got put on the back burner.

Post-It note holders have been around for a long time.  I saw that another demonstrator had made one with a Valentine gnome.  I knew I had to make one too. I am the Queen of Post-it notes! I buy them in bulk for school. I also had some little pens I got from the Dollar Tree after Halloween on sale!

Now to make the gnome. Punch two trees. One from Designer Series Paper and one from Whisper White. Sponge the Whisper White with  Blushing Bride ink and a sponge dauber.  His nose is punched with the 1/2” circle punch from Blushing Bride card stock. His feet are the leaf from the Apple Builder Punch using Basic Black card stock. Oh my goodness, isn’t he just cute!

The Pine Tree Punch is still available online. Make sure you use the Hostess Code SUNT7UVQ when you place your order from me this month!

Until next time,

International Swap

Hi Stampers!

I wanted to share a card with you that I made for a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators international swap.
I am in absolute love with the Designer Series Paper in the mini catalog and the saleabration catalog. They are so beautifully designed they don’t need anything else to make gorgeous cards.

I layered the Lily Impressions DSP that I earned free from the Saleabration catalog. I used a verse from Strong & Beautiful with Bermuda Bay Ink on Whisper White card stock. I cut it out with the Stitched Rectangle dies. Layered on a piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock cut with a larger die.

Every card needs a little bling so I added sequins from the Metallic Baker’s Twine & Sequins Combo Pack from Saleabration as well.  Don’t you just love how everything coordinates with Stampin’ Up!??

I can’t wait to see what other Demonstrators will be creating.  I will share their creations with you when I receive them next month.

Until next time,
