Farewell February

Hi Stampers!

I realize this year is leap year so we have one more day but I will be glad that the craziness of February will be over.  It has been a crazy month and a sad month.  I had to make sympathy cards this month.

I used Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper for this project. I LOVE this paper.  I want to use it on so many different things. I didn’t have a current sympathy verse so I had to dig around for a retired one.  I feel this is such a pretty card.  I wish it wasn’t for a sympathy card though.  I think I will make this card again with a cheerful greeting.

Until next time,

Coffee, Chocolate Cake and Cardstock

Hi Stampers!

This has been a week of coffee and today I’m adding a chocolate cake. I learned how to make this adorable box that holds a K-cup and a snack from a fellow demonstrator.

The bottom of the box is Granny Apple Green cardstock. The top of the box is  Lily Impressions DSP available during Saleabration.  I think it is such pretty paper, it’s like art work to me.

The tag is Granny Apple Green cardstock with a layer of Designer Series Paper.  I stamped a verse from Rooted in Nature stamp set with Granny Apple Green ink onto a scrap of white cardstock and cut it out with snips. Mini dimensionals were used to adhere the verse pieces to the tag.

Here is the package on the inside. I was thinking Little Debbie treats would be a wonderful snack to go with coffee.  I think any type of snack roll cake would fit in this box.

Until next time,

Ladybug K-cup

Hi Stampers!

This week seems to be about the single K-cup holders.  This one features the ladybug stamp set you can earn during  Saleabration.

This one is super easy to make. It’s a strip of card stock 2 1/4” x 11”.  Scored and  made into a box shape with a flap.  I stamped the flower and lady bug onto whisper white and used my stamping blends. I hand cut these shapes out. I used dimensionals to pop it up a little bi

The front panel is simply stamped with Tuxedo Black ink.  The whole is a 1 3/4” circle. It can be cut by hand, a punch or a circle die.  Here is a template to follow.

Bee Strong

Hi Stampers!

This week is school vacation.  Here is a little coffee holder I made for coworkers last week. We had to BEE STRONG the last few days of school.

I wanted to use up a few extra pieces I had from January’s Paper Pumpkin. This coffee holder is a half sheet of card stock and a few pieces of Designer Series Paper. (I am sorry I don’t remember which demonstrator I learned how to make this from.)

I made a small flower using the small daisy punch with card stock and vellum. The leaves are the sprig punch. I used an Old Olive marker to ink the word Strong from Strong & Beautiful stamp set and the word Bee from Paper Pumpkin.

Here is a template with the measurements on it. I had such fun making this single coffee holder. I hope you have fun making one too.

Until next time,
