Being Friends is Better Than Eating Candy

Hi Stampers!

I have another project using the From My Heart Suite. I just love this project because it has my two favorite things: chocolates and stamping.  Did you notice chocolate was listed first?

I made a video to show you how easy it is to make this project.  I am using a new video program.  I am sorry I am off screen for a bit. I am going to try to make more videos.  Like I said, my apartment doesn’t have hi-speed internet so everything has to be recorded and uploaded later on.

To make this you’ll need:
  • Clear envelopes
  • 4 1/4” x 4 1/4” card stock
  • 4” x 4” Designer Series Paper
  • 3 1/2” x 5” card stock scored at 1 3/4”
  • 1 1/2” x 4 3/4” Designer Series Paper
  • Scrap card stock to punch hearts and stamp
I got the chocolates at the local dollar store. You could use any candy you like.

Until next time,

From My Heart Meets Golden Honey DSP

Hi Stampers!

If you haven’t noticed I am absolutely in love with the Heartfelt Suite! I really enjoy it because it have friendship verses. They can be used for any friendship card, not just Valentine’s Day cards. I have made sooooo many things with this set already and I LOVE the Designer Series Paper too.

I added the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper to this card for another layer of interest. I really like how the black and white stripes pop.

Did you notice the white heart doily?  If you look in the catalog, it only shows Real Red and Flirty Flamingo. The backs are white so that gives you a third color.  Bonus tip* sponge the white side with any color you like.

A simple card to create,  A Real Red card base with a layer of  Golden Honey DSP cut at 4” x 5 1/4”.  A layer of. From My Heart DSP cut 4’ x 4’.  The Real Red ribbon is folded in a Z pattern.

I stamped the verse in Real Red ink, then the dotted heart was stamped in Tuxedo Black.  I punched it with the heart punch.  It was mounted onto a Flirty Flamingo scalloped heart which was layered onto a heart doily.  Dimensionals were added to the bottom of the hearts and added over the ribbon.

The inside was layered with Flirty Flamingo and a little strip of the heart DSP. I am not quite sure who will be getting this Valentine yet, but I am sure they will like it as much as I do.

You’ll want to order this bundle soon so you get it for Valentine’s Day.  I can see it being used to send anyone a little love any time of the year.  Make sure to use the hostess code SUNT7UVQ.

Until next time,

Six Cards From One Sheet of Designer Series Paper

Hi Stampers!

Last week I shared a video with you on how to cut card bases. This week I am going to show you how to cut one sheet of Designer Series Paper to make 6 card fronts.

The card bases we cut last week fold to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”.  The layers of Designer Series Paper we will be cutting is 5 1/4” x 4”.  The paper I’m using is Lily Impressions DSP from the Saleabration Catalog. I just love this paper, it reminds me of great art.  It coordinates with so many colors of card stock, which is one of the many great things I love about Stampin’ Up!

If you were to cut all 12 sheets of Designer Series Paper, you could have 72 card fronts in just a matter of moments. I hope this video helps all my new stamping friends.

If you would like to earn this beautiful paper, place an order with me for $50 before S/H and tax. Make sure to use this months hostess code SUNT7UVQ, unless you have an order $150+ so you can earn even more free products!

Until next time,
