Stamping Time Is On Its Way
Hopefully soon (Thanksgiving weekend) I can get some stamping and blogging done. Grammie wants to take my daughter for that entire weekend! Two and a half days in my craftroom with my movies & music...I wont know what to do with myself!! I can hardly wait.
Get Well Soon

Here is a card I have been dying to case from Dawn and I finally got Pick a Petal tonight! Unfortunately I need to use it. A coworker went hiking and twisted her ankle. The "pop" she heard was a torn tendon.

Photos While My Computer Was Down

Near my MIL there is a man who has a deer/elk farm on his property. If you know where he lives you can visit. Earlier this year when we took my daughter, there were only 2 deer around. This time most of the heard was around. Including a doe that was on the wrong side of the fence. (Apparently she had been loose for a few days & they couldn't catch her) They are pretty used to people. They know where the gumball machine with the food is and what it means if you are standing near it. The buck did try to ram the fence when he thought my daughter was too close but not hard enough to have anything happen. (DD didn't even notice)Happy Halloween
Well it has been awhile since I have posted. My laptop memory was very small and I overwhelmed it with photos! Ooops.. So finally I have an external hard drive and my DH helped move everything over so my laptop would work. Yippee! So just in time for Halloween I have some goodie boxes. The original Frankie box and directions are here. I wish I had the grass template but I don't so to help reinforce where the handle is, I punched 1" circles & adhered them to the spot I wanted the holes to go. I made 15 of them for the SU party I hostessed. I wis h I was able to take a photo of all of them together.

From there I thought of more Halloween ideas. And then I came up with this.
And from there it went to Santa.

In the video Angie said it was wire from the lumber section. If it is the same thing I got from Home Depot it is called re-bar wire and it is greasy. I washed it with a baby wipe and it was just fine. Just don't handle your projects until after you wash your hands.

New York Was Great!
New York was great! I hardly slept at all while there. The weekend was just a weekend we could get the time off & get a great deal on bus tour. We went to Madame Tussauds on the first night. The second day we went to Ground Zero, The Little Chaple That Stood, a bus tour around the city, saw the Statue of Liberity. (All that was before lunch) We walked all over the place, a street fair was going on-so we walked down one side & back up the other. Then we were off to Central Park Zoo. We saw Valerie Harper (Rhoda from the Mary Tyler Moore Shoe) Did I just date myself.
Micheal Phelps was in town that day for Saturday Night Live; so I stayed up later to watch that...
Equus was great! Richard Griffith & Daniel Radcliffe were wonderful. It was so wonderfully done-it didn't seem like a 3 hour show. Of course after the show, it was crazy with people trying to see Daniel Radcliffe after the show. Crowds of teenagers (and adults) on both sides of the street. Several officers trying to keep the road clear of pedestrians so cars could get by. On the way back to the hotel, we saw a few actors from Spamalot by the stage door.
All in all a great weekend. Oh and the weather was great-high 70's & into the 80's.

Getting Ready for New York
My trip for New York is getting closer & closer. My girlfriend & I can hardly stand it! Well I got out my camera today to make sure the battery is charged. Well I am still learning to use all the functions & buttons on this things. So I wanted to practice using some feature that will take "fast photos" so I don't miss anything while we are there. So reading the manual again, I think I found something that I can work. Well, here is our dog in an "action" shot. She has one of the biggest tongues.

Messy Makeover

Here are photos of my son's room. Since he is off at college, I am going to redo his room into a craft room. This wasnt a project I was planning on jumping into right away. He has only been gone for 4 days. However, since we got a kitten the night after he left...and I have all my craft stuff downstairs. JJ loves to jump on, climb on, and chew on all my stuff. I go back to work in 5 days so I will be busting my butt to do the sanding (I already patched the holes & taped off the edges of the floor boards), priming and painting. Then I have to lug all my stuff upstairs. That will be the hardest part of all LOL. I will try to remember to take "after" photos.
