So my last project (the bookmark) didn't have any stamping at all. Well, this card made up for it. It has so many colors and textures on it, it isn't funny.
This card was fun because the technique I used never allows any two cards to look exactly alike. I took a piece of waxed paper and rubbed 3 colors of ink on it (in almost a triangle shape). I used Not Quite Navy, Early Espresso and Cajun Craze. Then I used it like a giant stamp pad for my medallion background stamp. I spritzed my stamp with water and then stamped it on very vanilla. That's what gives it the aged edges. I think it goes so well with the Well Worn DSP, don't you?
Like I said, no two come out the same. The more water spritzed on the stamp, the more the image bleeds into the paper. If you click on either image, you will see more layers of color. I stamped En Francais with Early Espresso. The card base was aged with Early Espresso and the Texture wheel. Depending on the verse that is stamped on the inside, it could be used for any masculine card.
Come back this weekend to join me for SUStars for a My Digital Studio blog hop. I am determined to use that AWESOME program!
Until next time,
