Literally! Of course it is only green ink on my thumb and my fingers too. I was working on making
tea light roses. What a great video found here. They are so stinkin cute and easy.
The hardest or should I say most time consuming part is sponging the edges. I made a half dozen colored roses for the spring time craft fair. I hope people will think they are just as cute as I do. I used all retired papers and inks (what a pretty way to use them up!) The yellow/pink one reminds me of my grandmother. My grandfather used to buy her roses like that for their anniversary.
My Grammie was my first craft teacher ever, along with my mother. It was nice doing a project that made me think of the two of them.
Until next time.
