Happy Dance, 2nd Post of the Day!

Well I was updating my blog and catching up on my emails etc., and I noticed my blog got a ton of hits recently.  What's up with that?!?!

Baby Blossom Water Colors

Here is a simple little card made with Springtime Vintage papers and the Baby Blossom set.  I stamped the flowers on Very Vanilla and used a water color pen blend and paint the images.  The vase is a wide oval punch snipped at the top and bottom. 

I absolutely love the flowers on the Springtime Vintage DSP.  I hope Stampin Up brings out more papers like these.

Happy Mail-Senior Associate!

I went to the post office today expecting something I had ordered online.  So, I got my yellow ticket out of my PO Box and went to the counter.  It was the size package I had ordered so I was surprised when I opened it and it was a certificate from Stampin' Up saying I had been promoted to Senior Associate!  It's such a pretty little certificate I may just have to get a frame for it! And i got the cutest little Stampin Up pin that I can wear to my stampin activities!

You Crack Me Up

Easter will be here before we know it.  Here is a card we made at stamp club.  A quick and easy card using A Good Egg stamp set and lots of punched out circles of soft subtles designer series paper.

I just love the little chick, isn't he just as sweet as can be?

Cute As A Bug

Here is the scrapbook page my club did for March.  We used the Big Shot for all the lettering and a slue of punches for the ladybug.  Directions for the lady bug can be found here. Kay had a wonderful tutorial.

We used the Red Glitter paper from this months mini catalog. And we used: Pear Pizazz,Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Bashful Blue, Certain Celery, Poppy Parade, So Saffron, and Whisper Whited card stock.  Ten we highlight the word cute with the Basic Black marker.  Not one bit of stamping but it was fun!

Diaper Cakes

Well these aren't really stamp related but they are awfully cute!  And it is what I have been working on today.   And they were fun to make.  Depending on how many diapers are used it could be even bigger.  A friend asked me to make these for two of her coworkers.  Obviously, one lady is having a girl and one lady is having a boy.  I wish I had thought of this idea a month ago when a friend of mine had a baby.  Oh well.

Crazy March So Far

This month has been absolutely crazy.  Usually, between Feb vacation and April vacation is the longest stretch at school.  Not this year I can believe we are more than half way through March already!  Where has the time gone?  Oh wait, I know.  All my classes I have had to take for my job this year.  I had a final this past Tuesday and I am officially a Behavior Health Professional with the state.

What does that mean for my job, not much really, hahaha.  But it means I can file my time differently at work and the school with get a reimbursement for some of my time.  If I went to a different organization, it means I could work with behavior children in their home and with the families.  Which at this point I don't think it is something I want to do.  But like my grandfather told me-no one can ever take an education away from you.


In addition to online classes and a BHP class, I have managed to hold one SU event which we made an adorable scrapbook page and Easter cards, which I will try to post later this week.  I am also working on making two baby diaper cakes for a someone I know, an Ipad carrying case for a little boy who is cute as a bug.  Then on April 9th I have a craft fair to get ready for.  I see lots of late nights in my near future to get everything done.
